Following the pools draw that took place on Monday (1st April) for the 2019 Women’s U25 World Championship, the full competition schedule is now available.
The elite event for under 25 women will tip-off in SuphanBuri, Thailand on Thursday 23rd May, with hosts Thailand facing South Africa in pool A at 11:30 (local time) after the opening ceremony at 10:00.
The pool phase will run across three days to decide the rankings in each pool. All eight teams will advance to the quarter-finals that will be held on Sunday 26th May. The winners of which will progress to the semi-finals the next day, with the losers dropping down into the crossover games for placing.
The competition will conclude on Tuesday 28th May, starting with the two placing games for positions five to eight, paving the way for the third-fourth place game at 15:00 and the final set to tip-off at 17:15.
